11 August - (Franklin) - The Wisconsin GrandSons of Liberty is pleased to announce a Gubernatorial Debate at the Olympia Resort Ballroom in Oconomowoc, scheduled for this Saturday, August 14 , 2010 beginning at 3 pm. This event is open to the public, at no charge and the seating begins at 2:30pm.

Months ago the Wisconsin GrandSons of Liberty and its co-sponsors began working to secure the leading gubernatorial candidates for a debate for the major candidates. The balanced format was developed with their respective staffs in accommodation of their schedules. The debates are

designed to better inform the voters of southeastern Wisconsin on the issues, principles and philosophy of the candidates.

The two major Republican gubernatorial candidates, Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker and former Congressman Mark Neumann, will face off. Their Democratic counterpart has declined to participate. Several of the Patriot groups of Waukesha County are co-sponsoring the event.  The public will be able to submit questions for the candidates prior to the start of the debate. The event will be moderated by Ken Van Doren of Revolution Broadcasting’s Voice of Liberty radio show.

The event is free to the public and the doors open at 2:30 pm.   We appreciate all the support and efforts made by the candidates, their campaigns and the media in the support, promotion, and presentation of this event.  We also extend our gratitude to our co-sponsors, the Lake Country Area Defenders of Liberty, The Patriots for Honest Government, the Waukesha Defenders of Liberty, The Campaign for Liberty, the Pax Americana Institute and the Olympia Resort.

WISCONSIN GRANDSONS OF LIBERTY is a non-profit, non-partisan, pro-Constitution & Bill of

Rights focused Wisconsin patriot group that provides related information and sponsors educational events to the general public.
