Monday, the Journal Sentinel did a piece on the salaries of local superintendents.
Gotta hand it to those smarties at 4th and State. They are slow, but every once in awhile, worth waiting for.
This Just In blogged about this issue in June 2009, and in July 2008 when we were inspired by another WI newspaper.
This is a typical MOA of the Journal Sentinel, often scooped by talk radio and bloggers. When that happens, the paper will wait and wait and wait and wait, and then do the same story much later giving no credit to the original reporting source, relying on the hope that readers won’t remember and will think the Journal Sentinel is actually breaking the story.
It’s happened so many times that it’s painfully obvious. Not very ethical for a Pulitzer Award winning paper.
