Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely baby daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.

1 – POLITICS.
A few interesting things in the past week. A Fox Poll comes out showing the race for governor here is much closer than other polls show, and that it’s actually a dead heat. Is Barrett gaining momentum? Does the appearance by Obama help him even more? Do democrats really need the young people to turn out to win this thing? Walker introduces a county budget that cuts the tax levy, and promises even more furlough days for county workers if they don’t agree to concessions in their contracts with the county. Is this a realistic budget, or just a campaign budget?
2 – POOR

3 – GARY GEORGE.
At one time he was the most powerful (and polished) African-American politician in the state. Now, he’s a post prison convicted felon, found guilty six years ago of collecting lawyer fees in an illegal kickback scheme. But as of today, he’s once again a lawyer! The Supreme Court, against the suggestion of its Office of Lawyer Regulation, ruled that former State Senator Gary George should get his law license back. Is this outrageous, or has he paid his price to society and is he simply being given another chance? He is an extremely bright guy. Do you expect he will be a successful lawyer once again?
