Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely baby daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.

It’s really all you need to know.
Scott Walker, speaking to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Editorial Board on October 8, 2010:
“I'm not going to raise taxes, period. So, when
people say, how can you balance a budget
and still propose cutting taxes, I say I've done
it. I've done it in this latest budget. If we can
do that with the county budget there's no
doubt we can do it with the state.
I'd like to have tax cuts across the
board, and the ones I specifically
mention are the tax cuts I'd like to do in
that first session that we call the special
session. It would be tax cuts for small
businesses with 50 employees or less,
and in the biennium we're still in . . .
we anticipate to end with a $45 million
surplus by the end of that.
Because the theory is that if you get more
people working because of a better business
environment, over a two-year period, you're
actually going to have more people paying into
income tax and sales taxes that will help you in
other areas as well.”
There is no truth to the rumor that most of the Editorial Board members went into cardiac arrest.
