Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely baby daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.
OK, this Thanksgiving blog is for me
Why?
Because I love the Rockettes. They perform every year at the Macy’s Parade on Thanksgiving Day. Gorgeous high steppers in sparkling costumes.
And I tend to miss them.
I’m either in the bathroom or basement or garage or outside or as the late Yul Brynner once said, “Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.”
So I post the dancers’ exciting performance from 2008 in case you or I miss this year's routine because we're out getting an Egg McMuffin (entirely plausible in my case).
And don’t forget, MPTV has a Christmas special featuring the Rockettes Saturday at 5:30 on Channel 10.
