Two billboards placed in the city of La Crosse for the month of December display the humanity of the preborn Baby Jesus for all to see, in ultrasound form. The billboards feature an ultrasound image of Baby Jesus, with a halo and the words “He’s on His way… Christmas starts with Christ.”

“Christmas is the perfect opportunity to connect the Baby Jesus we know with the preborn baby Jesus,” said Virginia Zignego, communications director of Pro-Life Wisconsin. “We hope this will lead people to see the preborn as babies deserving of the right to life.”

The first billboard is located at the intersection of George St. and Clinton St. (near the Caledonia St. Planned Parenthood) and the second is located at the intersection of 4th St. and Cameron Ave. Click here to view the billboard.

“Even without the marvels of modern ultrasound technology, far before Christ was born in a manger, He was recognized as a unique and significant individual,” said Peggy Hamill, state director of Pro-Life Wisconsin. “It makes perfect sense to fast forward biblical accounts of the babe in Mary’s womb to what Jesus would look like in modern ultrasound.”

The billboards placed by Pro-Life Wisconsin are compliments of ChurchAds (www.churchads.net), a Christian nonprofit in England, dedicated to the idea of keeping Christ in Christmas. Click here to read an article about the impact the image has made in England.

We encourage people to download the image and distribute it at schools, parishes and anywhere else that would benefit from seeing the joyful preborn Baby Jesus.
