JEFF STONE FOR MILWAUKEE COUNTY EXECUTIVE!

Photo of Representative Stone

My friend and colleague, state Representative Jeff Stone (R-Greendale) whose district includes Franklin, Greendale and Greenfield officially announces his candidacy for Milwaukee County Executive Wednesday morning at 10:00.

Jeff Stone represents the best choice for conservatives in this important election. A number of tax and spend liberal Democrats will also be seeking the seat held so commendably by Wisconsin Governor-elect Scott Walker. It is crucial the next County Executive deliver the utmost in fiscal responsibility. That person is Jeff Stone.

As I write this blog, Representative Stone has re-drafted his common sense photo ID legislation that will be introduced as soon as the next legislative session begins in January. The legislation will become Wisconsin law quickly. Representative Stone has been a champion of this issue in the state Assembly and deserves credit for leading the fight for returning credibility to our election system.

As he has done at the state level, Representative Stone will work tirelessly at the county level for smaller government and curbs on high spending and taxation.

I wish him the very best and ask you to join me in support of his candidacy to keep checks and balances on a Milwaukee County Board that is bent on excessive taxing and spending.
