Conservatively Speaking

State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

More Wisconsin Fiscal Responsibility

Wisconsin is a national leader in fiscal responsibility, as evidenced by the state’s recently-approved balanced budget.

New numbers show Republicans’ commitment to fiscal sanity is a reflection of Wisconsin’s fiscally conservative culture.  According to the credit-rating agency Experian, four Wisconsin cities placed in the top 10 cities nationally for average credit scores.

Wausau topped all cities on the survey, with an average credit score of 789.  Madison (third), Green Bay (sixth) and La Crosse (10th) were the other Wisconsin cities in the top 10.

In a news release accompanying the survey, Experian recognizes Wisconsin’s prominence in the rankings.

Wisconsin residents remain among the nation’s most fiscally responsible,” the Experian release says.
