State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

Senate To Take Up Castle Doctrine Today

Assembly Bill 69 is scheduled for Senate action today, November 3, 2011.  Assembly Bill 69 is legislation also known as the Castle Doctrine.

 

I am a supporter of the Castle Doctrine and plan to vote in favor of Assembly Bill 69.

 

Other legislation scheduled for tomorrow includes Senate Bill 116, legislation to bring Wisconsin in compliance with the federal MOVE Act; Assembly Bill 274, legislation to improve safety at railroad crossings; and Assembly Bill 319, legislation that allows municipalities to enter into memorandums of understanding to realize the cost saving tools of 2011 Wisconsin Act 10.
