2011 POO Awards - A special note
I’ve been critical of Milwaukee Riverside pouring on the score this season. I’ve also written that they’re a very good football team, so good they don't need to resort to fake punts in the second half when they're up by 50 points.
They proved how good they are Friday night, advancing in the playoffs. This is rare for an MPS school. I’ve attended or worked at MPS football games just about every week with only a few exceptions since 1965. It’s good to see a city team go this deep into the season.
