AFP in action

AFP activists are still fighting hard on the ground in Wisconsin—and let me tell you, the enthusiasm we witnessed all weekend is absolutely phenomenal.

So far, our activists have called 41,000 Wisconsinites, knocked on 4,000 doors, distributed 25,000 fliers, and hosted ten rallies statewide—and, everywhere we go, people here are fired up and ready to keep fighting for fiscal discipline and a balanced budget.

Just to give you an idea of how much hard work our activists in Wisconsin are putting in, we put together a short video for top activists like you. You can view it now by clicking here:

Over the past year, Wisconsin has become a real-world example of how economic freedom works. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has erased his state’s massive deficit, and balanced the budget without tax hikes or mass layoffs of public workers.

But, not surprisingly, liberals are fuming over these free market successes. They’re doing everything they can to put Wisconsin back the way it was: back when spending was out of control, businesses were leaving the state, and public union bosses ran the show in Madison.

And, believe me, the Left won’t hesitate to do that in every other state in America too, unless we take our case right to the America people today.

For over a year, AFP has been leading the fight to support fiscal sanity and economic freedom in Wisconsin—starting with our “Stand with Walker” petition signed by 128,000 Americans nationwide last year, and continuing to our “A Better Wisconsin” bus tour now, and into the future.

But we need your help just once more to get us over the finish line—and make sure that we promote these reforms not just in Wisconsin, but all across the country.

Please click here immediately to make your much-needed donation of $25, $50, $100, or more.

Thank you for helping AFP—and helping us show our friends and neighbors that commonsense free market reforms are working not just in Wisconsin, but all across America.

Sincerely,

Tim Phillips, President
Americans for Prosperity

P.S. As I left the hotel in Racine, Wisconsin, Saturday morning for our final event, the lady working the front desk pulled me aside and said, "Tim, I can't go to the AFP rally today because I've got to work a double shift -- 7am to 9pm. But, just know I'm glad AFP's standing up for working people like me." Driving to the rally I thought about that lady and folks like her who pay the bills and just want a government that works for them instead of the other way around.
