Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely young daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.
There is a hearing scheduled before the City of Franklin Environmental Commission by the Meijer Stores for approval of a Natural Resources Protection Plan waiver of some of the requirements of our ordinance.
The meeting is scheduled for WEDNESDAY EVENING, June 20 at 7:00pm in the Building Inspection conference room at city hall. This conference room is accessed through the Building Inspection Department entrance on the north side of City Hall.
There will also be a follow-on public hearing on the request to change the Crossroads Trade Area Plan and the Comprehensive Master Plan to allow for a building larger than the 125,000 sq. ft. limit. I expect that that hearing will be on July 5, 2012 before the Common Council at 6:30pm. I will confirm this with you as the agenda is set.
As always, please call or e-mail me with questions.
