This Just In ...

Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely baby daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.

Why has Tammy Baldwin been so quick to begin negative campaigning in the race for U.S. Senate?
 

It just might have something to do with the three general election polls that have come out since the primary election that have Tommy up by an average of 8 points -- and it's probably only going to get even uglier. 
 

Tammy and the liberal special interests are going to do everything in their power to turn this race away from the issues that matter -- a stalled economy, growing debt and ever-increasing taxes to fund their latest spending spree. They'll use every dirty trick in the book and they have the money to do it -- which is why we need your help.
 

Today's gloomy CBO report speaks to $500 million in tax increases, near double-digit unemployment and a $1.1 trillion deficit if we don't change the course we are on by January. Tammy Baldwin and the Democrats are sending our country toward a financial cliff with their reckless tax and spend policies. November's election will determine whether we continue with our current failed economic team of Obama and Baldwin, or we take our country back!
