Ms. Elaine Kneeous

Jennifer is a one in a million stay-at-home mom. (More like one OF a million stay at home moms!) She graduated from a liberal arts college but there is nothing liberal OR artsy about her. She is married to Kevin Fischer of This Just In, and together they have a beautiful toddler daughter Kyla Audrey. In no particular order she loves dogs, wine, a good bargain, her family, pizza, and entertaining. Follow her blog of all things miscellaneous including but not limited to cooking and baking, entertaining and party planning, being a mommy, and homekeeping.

Long Time, No SEA!

When Kevin & I went on our Babymoon to Walt Disney World, we couldn’t help but pick up a few things for Baby Fischer.  Not knowing the gender was a slight problem; however we still managed to get some nice items.  Among our “souven-ears” were a onsie & bib from Finding Nemo and Kevin was actually the one to spot them first.  We can’t resist anything that has “Fish for Fischer.”

Two and a half years later, Kyla had her first taste of Nemo up close and personal.  We had a chance to ride “clam-mobiles” in EPCOT as well as watch a live musical version of that famous clown fish in Animal Kingdom.  While she does rotate what stuffed friends she takes to bed every night, her Nemo is among her favorites and I swear she has every page of her Nemo story book & seek-and-find book memorized.

While some original Disney films were before my time (heck, even some were before Kevin’s time!) I vividly remember when Finding Nemo made its debut.  I love Disney movies and I love Pixar movies but truly this is one of my favorites for many reasons.

This Friday it will be re-released in 3DI’m not sure if we’d get Kyla to sit through an entire theater-length experience PLUS wear glasses.  Still, I’m pretty excited about this eye-popping version of a modern Disney classic.

The following video has a little bit of everything…  scenes from the original movie, a short You Tube clip of Nemo fans, a peek of what it would be like to live like “Nemo:  The Millionaire” and an interview with the actor who lent his voice to that little orange-and-white charmer.

If you have a chance to see the movie before I do, leave a comment and let me know what you thought of it.  In the mean time, enjoy this:
