“You can work on the saxophone alone, but ultimately you must perform with others.”

The weekend has finally arrived.
The sun has set.
The evening sky has erupted.
Let's smooth our way into Saturday and Sunday.
This summer, saxman Dave Koz and three other sax players produced an album that led to a tour that paid homage to bands that accentuated horns. With summer and the band's tour at an end (unfortunately, it didn't come to Milwaukee), tonight we feature some of their work inspired by other greats. After 16 weeks, their album checks in at #3 today on the national smooth jazz charts.
Next up, we slow it down and get real smooth with a take on a 70’s composition from Earth, Wind, and Fire.
That’s it for this week’s segment.
Have a great weekend.
