Wisconsin Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week April 21 through April 25, 2014

Wisconsin Emergency Management, ReadyWisconsin, the National Weather Service and the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association are collaborating to declare April 21 through April 25, 2014, Wisconsin Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week.  Each year one week is designated to prepare and remind Wisconsinites about preparation for severe weather situations and to remind us about the damage tornadoes and severe weather cause to property and life.

During this year’s awareness week a statewide tornado drill is scheduled April 24, 2014, between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.  Click here for information about the 2014 Wisconsin Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week.
