OakCreekNOW reports the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School Board has approved two referendum questions for November that have a total whopping price tag of $66,450,000.
That’s $66 million. Plus the school district is more than $39 million in debt. But this chutzpah comes as no surprise. Most school boards are tone deaf and care nothing about the beleaguered folks who pay the bills.
Taxpayers in that district, prepare yourselves for a healthy dose of the following:
It’s for the children.
It will only cost X amount her household.
The kids will perform so much better.
Do it now or it’ll cost more later.
It’s an investment for the future.
Oppose this? What have you got against kids?
