Conservatively Speaking
State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.
Congratulations, John Grosch!
John Grosch’s Eagle Scout ceremony was held on Sunday, May 17, 2009.
My office prepared a state citation that I presented to John Grosch at the special ceremony. It reads:
Whereas, John F. Grosch is a member of the Boy Scouts of
Whereas, John F. Grosch’s Eagle Scout project included constructing a 300 yard long walking path near the New Berlin Community Center, laying over 2,620 cubic feet of wood chips; and
Whereas, John F. Grosch earned 33 merit badges, served his troop in numerous leadership positions, and plans to serve as the Camp Long Lake Director of Ecology/Conservation; and
Whereas, John F. Grosch is a 2008 New Berlin West High School High Honors graduate and was a member of the National Honor Society, played baseball, boy’s volleyball, earned four major swimming letters, and named Woodland Conference Scholar Athlete; and
Whereas, John F. Grosch attends the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point double majoring in Biology and Fish and Water Resources; now
