Mark Neumann’s desperate campaign has morphed into a traveling circus of lies and attacks.
 
Today, Mark Neumann released his second attack ad against Scott.  Neumann even held press conferences across Wisconsin where he outright lied about Scott’s strong support for the Second Amendment!

Scott is an avid hunter and supporter of the Second Amendment.  He has time and again supported shall issue concealed carry legislation, saying explicitly he will sign it as governor.  His support for the Second Amendment is so well known, even the DEMOCRATS have made attack ads against Scott for SUPPORTING concealed carry legislation!  Now, Mark Neumann said he flip flopped?  Huh?  

…but you don’t have to take my word for it.  See the statements below from the original authors of the bills Neumann is claiming Scott didn’t support.  

Like you, we are extremely disappointed by the increasingly shrill tone of Mark Neumann and his constant lies and attacks against Scott -  especially since he promised to run a clean campaign.

PS – here are the statements from Representative Scott Gunderson, and former Senator Dave Zien, the original authors of concealed carry legislation.

Rep. Scott Gunderson:  “Scott Walker has stood strong for the rights of gun owners his entire career and any claims by Mark Neumann to the contrary are complete and utter lies.  Scott Walker has also explicitly said he would sign shall issue concealed carry legislation as governor.  I denounce the Neumann campaign for the increasingly negative tone of their campaign and for misleading the voters of Wisconsin about Scott Walker’s strong support for the Second Amendment.”

Sen. Dave Zien: “Gun owners and patriots know Mark Neumann’s attacks are ridiculous.  I’ve been on the front lines with Scott Walker defending the rights of gun owners, including the right to carry.  These attacks are hurting Mark Neumann’s credibility.  I hope they are coming from his out of state staff and not from Mark.”
