Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely baby daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.

“The 2010 tournament truly was remarkable when you consider today’s economy and the fact that most of our advertising is done word-of-mouth,” Tournament founder DJ Slater said. “I’m glad we can present Mrs. Rathke with our largest donation to date for the scholarship fund.”
DJ’s Court Tourney 2010 currently holds the record for largest turnout and largest donation among the nine other tournaments before it. The previous donation record was set in 2007 at $1,350. The largest turnout was 16 teams.

Since 2003, when the tournament started raising money for the scholarship fund, DJ’s Court Tourney has collectively raised approximately $9,232. Money for the fund comes from team fees - $60 per team – and donations.
