This Just In ...

Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely young daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.

Wisconsin school districts go into the fetal position rather than fight for their pride

As I predicted on WISN last week, the politically correct legislative Democrats that believe banning Indian mascots is far more important than reducing unemployment and creating jobs are getting their way.

Wussy school districts are caving and folding up like lawn chairs when complaints are filed about their school nicknames, logos, mascots, whatever, thanks to a new Wisconsin law that is completely outrageous. The law says:

1) Only one moonbat needs to complain before a full blown hang ’em high process begins.

2) The big, bad, horrible racist school district is presumed guilty and must prove its innocence.

3) Names like Indians and Chiefs are considered unambiguously racist discriminatory.

We might as well get rid of all mentions of Native Americans. Is that what PC liberals want? Apparently they support a complete eradication of any references to Native Americans that have been a significant element of our storied state history.

Kewaunee has buckled.  So has Osseo-Fairchild. Look for Mukwonago (I hope not) to take the next dive.

Sad.
