Lincoln Elementary School first-grader Charlotte Desjarlais wipes a tear from her eye during a celebration of the life of classmate Kaylen Birk. Birk died earlier in the week of an inoperable brain tumor. The celebration of her life was held on what would have been Kaylen's seventh birthday.
