Laura Ferguson and David Bengs of Milwaukee are planning an April 13, 2013, wedding at Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church.
Parents of the couple are Nancy and Jeff Ferguson of Brookfield and Lynda Nelson and the late Daniel Bengs of Greendale.
The bride-to-be, a 2003 graduate of Brookfield Central High School, earned her bachelor's degree in journalism and legal studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her teaching degree from Marquette University. She is a high school English/drama teacher in Pewaukee.
The future groom, a 2003 graduate of Greendale High School, earned his bachelor's degree in business from UW-Milwaukee. He is a financial analyst for Fidelity National Information Services in Menomonee Falls and sits on the board of directors of Cobblers Loft, Milwaukee.
The couple met during a flight cancellation St. Patrick's Day 2010.
