Elizabeth Petri and Samuel Paul of Greendale were married Nov. 5, 2011, at Christ Church in Bay View.

Parents of the bride are Tom and Debbie Petri of Greendale. The groom's parents are Gary and Mary Anne Paul of Cudahy.

The Rev. Dale Stohre officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Clarion Airport hotel.

The bride wore an ivory, ruched gown with one shoulder. She carried a bouquet of white and green hydrangeas with purple orchids.

Megan Petri of Milwaukee, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brianne Nillissen of Wittenburg, Kate Broadwell of West Allis, Becky Samplaski of Mequon and Lindsay Johnson of Greendale.

Michael Williams of Cudahy, best friend of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Tamberlane Mah, Jerry Wasikowski, Douglas Rainer, Ross Milton and Kyle Campbell all from Cudahy.

The bride earned her associate degree in dental hygiene from Milwaukee Area Technical College. She is employed as a dental hygienist with Brookfield Dental.

The groom earned his bachelor's degree in fire and emergency response from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and is now pursuing his nursing degree at Bryant and Stratton College. He is an emergency medical technician.

He proposed at Devil's Lake State Park in Baraboo.

The couple planned a one-week honeymoon on the island of Curacao.
