THEFT

1A smartphone was stolen from a customer at Zumiez in Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., around 10:25 p.m. Dec. 9. The victim stated she set her smartphone down for several minutes and when she returned to its location it was gone. The phone was tracked to the 2200 block of South 34th Street.

2A 25-year-old Franklin man was cited for theft by fraud after he shoplifted six video games from the New Berlin Walmart, then tried to sell them at Game Stop in Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., at 4:15 p.m. Dec. 10. After the suspect was cited, he was turned over to New Berlin police.

3A 26-year-old Brown Deer woman was arrested for shoplifting and felony possession of pepper spray at Boston Store in Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., at 9:15 p.m. Dec. 11.

4Two unknown suspects passed counterfeit $100 bills at both Pacsun and Kohl's at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., prior to 7:10 p.m. Dec. 12. The suspects also tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at Spencer's, but the employees knew it was counterfeit and wouldn't accept it. The suspects are described as a black male in his 30s wearing glasses, a blue and black hat with gray stripes and a black, puffy vest and a short, heavy-set black woman wearing a black puffy coat.

OTHER

5A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for receiving stolen property and obstructing an officer at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., at 9:10 p.m. Dec. 8. He was also taken into custody and turned over to the Greenfield police for having two outstanding warrants in their city for retail theft and carrying a concealed weapon.

6A boy and girl were both arrested for having sexual intercourse with a child age 16 or older after they were seen having sex near South 84th Street and Root River Parkway shortly before 5 p.m. Dec. 11. The boy was also cited for carrying a concealed weapon and the two were turned over to their parents.

Greendale police responded to one domestic violence call between Dec. 8 and Dec. 13.
