THEFT

1Four adults and one juvenile were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between March 14 and March 20.

2A boy was arrested for theft after he was seen pulling tags off DVDs in the bathroom at the Greendale Public Library, 5647 Broad St., about 6 p.m. March 20.

DRUG POSSESSION

3A man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after being pulled over for several traffic violations at Grange Avenue and Northway at 10:30 p.m. March 17.

4Three men and one woman were arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, underage drinking and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after the car they were riding in was pulled over for a traffic violation in the parking lot at Shoe Carnival, 5493 S. 76th St., at 9:45 p.m. March 18.

5A man was arrested for possession of marijuana and cited for driving with a suspended license and failing to wear a seat belt at 76th Street and Overlook Drive at 9:15 p.m. March 19.

OTHER

6A man was arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior after a clerk at Speedway, 5490 S. 76th St., reported he exposed his genitals to her before leaving the business at 2:20 am. March 15. He also was taken into custody for having a valid commitment for a family court offense/violation and was cited for driving without insurance.

7A male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and was cited for not wearing a seat belt during a traffic stop at Southway and Loomis Road at 5:15 p.m. March 16.

8A woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after the car she was riding in was pulled over in the 7500 block of West Grange Avenue at 1:25 a.m. March 17. The driver was arrested and cited for having open intoxicants in a vehicle, driving with a suspended license and driving with suspended registration.
