THEFT

1Four adults and three juveniles were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between Aug. 1 and Aug. 9.

ASSAULT

2A woman was punched by a stranger at 51st Street and Grange Avenue at 9:15 p.m. Aug. 8. The man attempted to drive around her vehicle while she was stopped at the intersection. When she asked the driver what he was doing, he backed up and scraped her car, then exited his vehicle and made racial slurs before punching her in the face.

DRUG POSSESSION

3A 17-year-old girl was arrested for possession of marijuana, obstruction and shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., at 7:45 p.m. Aug. 4.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

4A 52-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for illegally passing an emergency vehicle and not having proof of insurance at 76th Street and Rawson Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. Aug. 4. His blood-alcohol content was 0.10.

5A 66-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for drunken driving at Loomis Road and Root River Parkway at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 9. Her BAC was unavailable.

OTHER

6A park manager called police after a man became disorderly and started swearing and threatening park visitors at Root River Picnic Area 1, 5300 Root River Parkway, at 11:20 a.m. Aug. 5. The man drove away prior to police arrival. Police are following up with a possible suspect.

7A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for obstructing an officer, failure to stop for an emergency vehicle, driving with a suspended license and not having insurance when he failed to stop his car after an officer attempted to pull him over on Grange Avenue at Northway at 11:45 p.m. Aug. 6. Officers followed the man to a driveway in the 5600 block of Churchway, where he was taken into custody.

Greendale police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with one rescue call between Aug. 1 and Aug. 9.
