1A 28-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for theft by fraud after he took an item off a store shelf, then took it to the checkout and attempted to return it for cash at JC Penney, 5350 S. 76th St., at 8:45 p.m. Jan. 8. The man was arrested less than 24 hours later after he attempted to commit the same crime at Kohl's, 5300 S. 76th St., at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 9.

2Ten adults and one juvenile were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between Jan. 12 and Jan. 17.

3A 35-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for employee theft at JC Penney, 5350 S. 76th St., at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 14.

4A resident of the 6800 block of West Loomis Road reported her cellphone had been stolen at 3:05 p.m. Jan. 17.


5A 52-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and shoplifting at Kohl's in Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 14.

6A 19-year-old Milwaukee man, a 19-year-old Greenfield man and an 18-year-old Greendale man were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after they were seen smoking in a parked vehicle in the 6100 block of Downing Street at 10:35 p.m. Jan. 14.


7A 51-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for violating a restraining order in the 8900 block of Woodbridge Drive at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 13.

8A 64-year-old Greendale man was arrested for bail jumping in the 6700 block of Crocus Court after he became intoxicated and threatened family members over the phone at 9:20 p.m. Jan. 16. He was under a court order not to drink; his blood-alcohol content was 0.18.

9A 29-year-old man who was cited for trespassing after he refused to leave Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., was arrested on warrants through the Butler, Menomonee Falls and Kenosha police departments at 2 p.m. Jan. 17.

Greendale police responded to one domestic violence call between Jan. 12 and Jan. 17.
