BURGLARY

1A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for burglary for stealing a safe containing a handgun from a residence in the 8100 block of Fielding Lane before 3:40 p.m. July 24. The safe and gun were found at the Wehr Nature Center in Franklin about five hours later.

THEFT

2Five adults and two juveniles were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between July 20 and July 26.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

3A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, after he was pulled over on his motorcycle in the 5500 block of West Grange Avenue at 6:30 p.m. July 24. The man also was cited for a motorcycle permit violation and a helmet violation. His blood-alcohol content was 0.23.

OTHER

4Police responding to a report of a loud party in the 5300 block of Laura Lane arrested two juveniles for underage drinking and resisting arrest and cited two 17-year-old boys and a 17-year-old girl for underage drinking just after midnight July 22.

5A 19-year-old man was arrested for underage drinking and a 20-year-old woman was arrested for underage drinking and misuse of 911 in the 6500 block of Greenway at 5:30 a.m. July 23. The woman called 911 and claimed she was sexually assaulted, then called a second time to say she was "just kidding."

6An 18-year-old woman was arrested for underage drinking after she was seen lying in the grass at an apartment building in the 5300 block of Eastway at 1:15 a.m. July 24.

7A 19-year-old man, an 18-year-old man and a male juvenile were arrested for trespassing after they were seen entering the Village Club, 6263 Sherwood Road, at 10:20 p.m. July 24.

Greendale police responded to two domestic violence calls between July 20 and July 26.
