BURGLARY

1Several items were taken from a home in the 7100 block of Earl Avenue between 10 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. Oct. 3. Investigation is ongoing.

THEFT

2A gold wedding band with attached engagement ring and a gold ring with a ruby stone were taken from a home in the 8800 block of Greenview Lane on June 12. The theft was reported shortly before 2 p.m. Oct. 2.

3Six adults and two minors were arrested for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between Sept. 28 and Oct. 4.

4A 2007 Cadillac DTS was stolen from the parking lot outside Boston Store at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between 2:20 and 2:40 p.m. Sept. 28. The car was left unlocked with the keys in the middle console. The vehicle was found in Milwaukee at 6 p.m. Oct. 4.

VANDALISM

5An air-conditioning unit was damaged during an attempted theft at the Department of Transportation building, 5500 W. Grange Ave., prior to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 28. Screws were removed from access panels and a padlock was cut off the access panel door. Extra patrol watches are being provided.

OTHER

6A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was seen urinating near the tennis courts in the 5200 block of West College Avenue at 1:40 a.m. Sept. 30.

7An officer assisting a lost motorist in the Greendale Fire Department parking lot, 6200 W. Loomis Road, at 7:15 p.m. Oct.1 discovered the driver, an 83-year-old New Berlin man, was reported missing in New Berlin. Police contacted family members and he was returned home.
