In some ways, Tuesday was like the first game of the season for the Oak Creek girls basketball team.
Layups. Three-pointers. And everything in between. For 9½ minutes of the second half Friday, virtually everything New Berlin Eisenhower's girls basketball team tossed up found the bottom of the net.

The sports season is full swing at Oak Creek, Franklin, Greendale and Whitnall high schools. And throughout the school year, we will be updating this gallery with the latest photos from all the sports at our local high schools. See the 2008-09 gallery.
Germantown posted a 69-56 victory over host Greendale in a non-conference game Feb. 23.
Greenfield High School hosted the Woodland Conference swim meet in its new pool Feb. 6. Shorewood was first with 474 points.
Whitnall High School hosted the Woodland Conference wrestling tournament on Feb. 6. Pewaukee was first with 221 points.
Some of the area's top senior soccer players took part in the NOW/Milwaukee Wave Senior All-Star Game at the U.S. Cellular Arena on Jan. 23.
