Soles 4 Souls

April 8, 2009

Soles4Souls Drive-thru Shoe Drop-off on Saturday, April 18, from noon to 4 PM at St. Stephen the Martyr Lutheran Church, 6101 S. 51st Street, Greendale, WI (just north of College Ave.) Rain or Shine!

Start your spring cleaning by going through your closets and collecting shoes you no longer (or never did) wear and donate them to the Shoe Charity, Soles4Souls. SSM is collecting shoes to ship to S4S for their distribution around the world. S4S donates a pair of shoes to someone in need every 23 seconds! SSM has collected over 700 pairs of shoes through this Lenten season and is looking for even more at our Drive-thru Drop-off. Any style, type of shoe will be accepted!

Volunteers will be waiting to collect your shoes as you drive into our lot. We will also be collecting cash/checks to cover shipping costs and to purchase new shoes for donation. Thank-you to Custom-Express for coordinating our shipping and providing a great rate for this effort.

Need more information? Check out the website for Soles4Souls, Our Drop-off on April 18th is listed under the S4S Events link.
