Highland View Girl Scout Troop 1545 Selling Pet Rocks to Benefit Humane Society

Pet rocks -- handmade with love and humor by the Highland View 4th-grade Girl Scouts, Troop 1545 -- will be on sale at several Village of Greendale shops on Broad Street from June 14-20.

Shops participating include Broad Street Coffee Company, Ferch's Malt Shoppe, The Shoppe Around the Corner, Margo's Village Boutique, Taste of Home Outlet Store, Lotions & Potions, Caesar's Pet, Apples of Eden and Once Upon a Time.

The troop also will gather to personally sell the pet rocks outside Village Hall on Saturday, June 20.

All proceeds will be donated to the Wisconsin Humane Society to help replenish their stock of caretaking items.
