The Greendale High School Cheer Team finished 6th in the nation at the National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC) held at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida from February 12-14. The team, comprised of 27 varsity cheerleaders, competed in the Super Varsity Division.
The NHSCC is the most prestigious cheerleading championship in the country. Over 400 teams across the nation attempt to qualify for Nationals through regional competitions held throughout the U.S. during the fall. The competition is nationally televised on ESPN.
